BEST CAMPSITE LIGHTS & LANTERNS OF 2018
There’s nothing worse than hiking and not having any lighting once the sun sets. It doesn’t matter how well you know the woods – hiking in the dark is not a good idea. This means that you have to be prepared to pull out a hiking headlamp out of your bag. If you plan on setting up camp at some point, it’s a good idea to have a camping lantern or two within all of your gear as well.
We’re excited to show off our inventory of lighting within the hiking and camping gear that we have to offer. As exciting as it can be to lay beneath the stars and look up into the vast open sky, at some point you’re going to need to see what you’re doing. We have you covered with a variety of different gear to ensure you get what you need for where you’re going and the adventures you plan to go on.
Hiking headlamps are one of the coolest pieces of gear to have in your backpack. When you’re hiking, whether it’s in a local park or clear across the country, you need to see where you’re going at night. Rather than holding a light in your hand, hiking headlamps strap right to your head. This allows your hands to be free to push back branches or fight off bears. Seriously, though, you don’t want to be outside without one of these – and everyone in your hiking party should have one.
We certainly have our opinions on the best headlamp. However, we have a lot of different headlamps, and it’s important to read through the features to ensure you find the right one for you and your activities. From brightness to comfort to price, you should always get what’s right for you. With our inventory, it’s easy to find what you need.
When you plan on setting up camp, you need to see what you’re doing. Otherwise, your tent probably isn’t going to get assembled correctly. Plus, someone might need to make a bathroom run, and there’s nothing worse than stumbling into the bushes going by feel alone. That’s why we recommend taking at least one camping lantern with you.
With a good lantern, you can shed light onto your campground. It ensures you’re able to see what’s going on and turn off the light quickly if it’s necessary. While you might still want to build a fire, it’s not a requirement just to get eyes on what’s going on around you. We’ve already picked out our favorite LED lantern, though there are a lot of different options out there. This means you should take the time to look at the various models and how they’re powered as well as how much light they give off.
With the best camping lanterns around, we want to make sure you have the best outdoor experience possible, especially when Mother Nature turns the lights off.
